The chart-topping trio sold more than 750,000 tickets to their “Inhale/Exhale World Tour,” setting a new benchmark for the electronic music industry.

RÜFÜS DU SOL have made electronic music history with their “Inhale/Exhale World Tour,” now officially recognized as the highest-selling electronic tour of all time, according to Live Nation.
Named after the group’s critically acclaimed fifth studio album Inhale/Exhale—recently nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album—the world tour saw the Australian trio sell over 750,000 tickets globally. Throughout 2024, more than 1.5 million fans experienced the band’s mesmerizing blend of live instrumentation and electronic production across headline shows and major festival appearances.
The expansive tour launched in Mexico this past March and spanned South America, North America, Australia and New Zealand — delivering a series of historic milestones along the way. Notably, RÜFÜS DU SOL became the first electronic act to headline the iconic Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, captivating a crowd of 90,000. They also set a new record at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena as the highest-selling Australian act to date.
Adding to their global impact, the band headlined multiple international festivals including Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Chicago, as well as Estéreo Picnic in Colombia.
To commemorate the achievement, Live Nation presented the band with a special plaque recognizing the “Inhale/Exhale World Tour” as the highest-selling electronic tour ever. “RÜFÜS DU SOL are officially the highest-selling electronic tour of all time with 750,000 headline tickets sold globally & over 1.5 million show attendees for their Inhale/Exhale tour,” Live Nation said in a statement.
Looking ahead, RÜFÜS DU SOL are set to continue their upward trajectory in 2025 with their largest European tour yet. Kicking off April 24th in Barcelona, the arena tour will travel through Madrid, Zürich, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and London, among other major cities.
